Dear George,

As they say, it can only get better after hitting rock bottom. Many thanks for the trash heap you're leaving behind.

Yours truly from Boston

  1. Dear George,

Unbelievable tenure! You managed to ignore the Constitution; commit haneous crimes; repeatedly lied to the American Public - the tax payers who've payed for your foolish antics, and, eight years later, left us in one hell of a mess. If you look back on what you inherited when you took office, you should be ashamed.

  2. Actually, I admire George W. Bush. After all, he has done things no one else has been able to do. He caused the Bank of England to have the lowest interest rate in its 300 year plus history. He has managed to reverse George Washington's anti-torture policy. When the almost the whole world wept for us, when the French [who, let's not forget, helped us beat the Britsh in the 1780's] said: "Nous sommes tous americains." [We are all Americans.]; he managed to turn that sentiment into profound scorn and hatred. When the country was riding high economically, with a record surplus, he managed to take a fiscally conservative political party and blow all the money on a war we didn't need to fight instead of finding the guy who blew up the World Trade Center. And lastly, he manage to convince almost half of America to vote for him even after he had shown what kind of person and president he was.

I think that's remarkable even if it's remarkably sad.

Let' hope we have seen the last of him and his.
